1. Prepare your data (genealogy software)
   1. Prepare your Gedcom file (genealogy software) > Prepare your html pages (gedcom to html software)

   2. Autogenerate your html pages (Legacy, PAF, etc.)
2. Edit your homepage (index.html) (Notepad, HomeSite, AceHtml, DreamWeaver, FrontPage software)
3. Add images to your homepage (as above; images prepared in PaintShopPro, Photoshop... as .gif or .jpg files)
4. Add related pages (Notepad, etc. software)
5. Upload the pages (FTP software, or sometimes the authoring software has aspect built in)

7. Advertise your pages (e-mail, Web Wizards)
